Fab Quilted Jackets

Every quilted jacket in the Fab Quilted line is made of layers of hand-printed cotton joined by artisanal quilting. Each side features a different pattern — it may be a floral motif on one side and geometric on the other, or two different colour palettes. Simply reverse the jacket to obtain an entirely different garment. The quilting’s visible stitching is designed to look decorative on both sides.

The soft quilted jackets have a more fluid structure and thinner padding, with an enveloping drape. The Fab Quilted quilted jackets have a more defined structure thanks to denser quilting, which creates a visible geometric pattern on the fabric. Both are in hand-printed cotton and artisanal, but the result differs: soft and draped in the Soft Quilted, structured and graphic in the Fab Quilted.

Hand-wash or machine-wash at 30°C on a delicate programme. Use a protective laundry bag to preserve the quilting. Do not wring, do not use bleach. Dry flat in the shade to maintain the shape. Iron at medium heat, preferably on the reverse. Hand-printed cotton improves with washing: the colours soften and the fabric acquires a lived-in, personal character.

Quilted jackets are versatile and can be worn over simple garments or coordinated prints. A Bibi shirt in printed cotton creates a play of block print patterns, while a solid-colour cotton kurta balances the volume of the quilting. To complete the look, an artisanal cotton shopper picks up the handmade spirit of the jacket.

The collection comprises the models — Louis, Edward, Elisabeth, Diana, Lisa and Pilli — each with a different pair of patterns on the reversible sides. Every quilted jacket is unique in its combination of prints and colours. The choice depends on the type of contrast desired: Louis and Edward are more classic and restrained, Elisabeth and Diana play on bold chromatic pairings, Lisa and Pilli bring more vibrant block print patterns.
